The use of a florist is welcomed here at St. Joseph’s. Most florists here in Macon are aware of our Church guidelines and will work well to make your wedding beautiful. If the florist that you use is unfamiliar with our guidelines, please make sure they are aware of the following:

1. All flowers and other equipment must be brought in to the Church facilities on the day of the event during the rental time only.
2. Furniture or equipment that is owned by St. Joseph Church is not to be used or moved without permission of the wedding coordinator or office management.
3. Candles are not to be used on tables, windowsills or wooden areas. Only drip-less candles in approved candelabra stands are to be used.
4. Helium balloons, rice, birdseed, glitter, confetti, liquid string, real flower petals, are prohibited on the property. Silk rose petals are permitted, but must be cleaned up after the ceremony.
5. No tape, tacks or nails are to be used on any surface of walls, columns, floors, pews, ceiling or doors. Cables, cords or wires are not to be placed in a manner that will cause a trip hazard. The use of bows and floral pew markers is allowed.
6. All materials furnished by the florist are to be removed when the rental time is completed, with the exception of flowers that have been placed on the High Altar. Areas of the Church and/or Social Hall should be left after use in the same condition as they were prior to rental.
7. Trash left over from the decorations and flowers should be placed in the trash dumpster in the Church parking lot after the event.
8. Anything left in the buildings after the event is not the responsibility of St. Joseph Church.
